Elaine shares why traditional parenting advice often falls short for families raising children with ADHD, anxiety, and other forms of neurodivergence, and how a coach approach offers a more compassionate and empowering path. She reflects openly on her own journey—from being an anxious, tightly wound parent to learning how to be present with her children rather than constantly trying to fix or control outcomes.

Together, we explore what it means to raise “complex kids,” the importance of self-talk as self-care, and the powerful shift from wanting from our children to wanting for them. Elaine also speaks about vulnerability, embodiment, and conscious parenting as an inward journey—one rooted in connection, agency, and respect for where each child (and parent) truly is.
