About the Guest

• Ryan Busse’s Gunfight book is about his battle against the industry that radicalized America.  Its Ryan’s personal memoir and an inside look from a high level perspective from a former executive in the firearms industry.  It’s personal to me because my wife and I have been discussing ways to change the prevailing narrative of fear that permeates the Black community and perceptions of the Black community that have been fostered through the firearms industry, so this book was quite personal to me and honestly, quite visceral.  Ryan reached out to me for my endorsement  as he was publishing the book and it was a no-brainer for me.  It’s another answer to the prevailing question of what does all this diversity work have to do with the outdoors, hunting, wingshooting, etc.  So I was thrilled to have him on my podcast to talk about this book and dive into deeper insights on the topic.
