The NZer who has come up a device to help detect cancer

Falling Walls is an international competition which gives early career researchers 3 minutes to pitch a breakthrough idea. This year's Aotearoa NZ leg was won by University of Otago cancer researcher Dr Judy Ann Cocadiz. Her winning pitch - "Breaking the Wall of Late Cancer Detection", is about a Cancer Society-funded device designed to help detect cancer by capturing tiny fragments of tumour DNA circulating in the bloodstream As part of her prize, she will now head to Berlin to pitch at the Falling Walls global final - she chats to Jesse.
