In this episode, I re-released episode 33 featuring Rebekah Gundrum owner of Triggered 22 and U.S. Navy Veteran. She shares a raw and courageous story of service, survival, and healing.

After a 20-year Navy career and a deployment to Iraq in 2011, Rebekah opens up about the long nights overseas—trying to rest while mortars hit around her compound, some landing inside the wire. Like many veterans, she carried those invisible wounds home. With the encouragement of her oldest daughter, Taylor, Rebekah sought help and was diagnosed with PTSD.

Her journey toward healing led her to Northwest Battle Buddies, where she met her service dog Trigger—a constant companion who has helped her reclaim peace, confidence, and purpose. With Trigger always watching her six, Rebekah made a powerful decision: stop surviving and start living.

That decision became Triggered 22, an apparel brand and movement dedicated to raising awareness for PTSD, veteran suicide prevention, and the strength found in vulnerability.

This episode is about courage, family, service, and turning pain into purpose—so others know they are not alone.
