Welcome back to A Pod of Their Own, an all-women led Home Run Applesauce podcast where we talk all things Mets, social justice issues in baseball, and normalize female voices in the sports podcasting space. 

This week, we begin by discussing the Mets’ 7-0 homestand followed by the rollercoaster that was the Mets/Nationals series in DC. We talk about the roster moves this week—the activation of Jeff McNeil and Francisco Alvarez, demotion of Brett Baty and Hayden Senger, and the injury to A.J. Minter. We also chat about the vibe shift in the NL East and how the Mets have had the Phillies’ number in recent years.
