Deep in the wilderness of Gakona, Alaska, lies a research facility that was owned and operated by the U.S. government from 1993 to 2015. The High-frequency Active Auroral Research Program, or HAARP, was established to study radio waves and other seemingly innocuous fields. But some believe the program ran deeper and had the power to control the weather and maybe even human minds.
