This was recorded on a cold autumn day at half frozen Toad Lake in Shasta-Trinity National Forest, Siskiyou County, California. The wind ripples on the open water were pushing bits and pieces of broken ice against the edge of the frozen half of the lake, which created some interesting sounds.
