Wit and Reason with Dr. Alexis Moreno
TV & Film
The loss of Kobe and his daughter has been a shocking reminder that
We’re not invincible
All of us are fragile
Our life is temporary and valuable
And these reminders aren’t motivators to stay locked indoors. No, that’s not what Kobe and his family represented to us. We are reminded to live courageously, to love and show our family that we care deeply for them, to resiliently return and rebuild our life and relationships if/when they face battles.
We have followed along Kobe’s life since he was a teen. We were there when he succeeded, when he was challenged, and when he experienced his last moments. Now there is an absence and all we’re left with is mourning. As we process our loss, I hope the meaning we retain aligns with cherishing our loved ones and living everyday of our life.
