Welcome to episode ten of season three.
In this episode we catch up with Katie Herries who in January 2023 embarked on the adventure if a lifetime with four freshly broken in horses riding from Rainbow station to Manapouri. A path that took her straight down the centre of the South Island weaving through Stations, Mountains, Lakes and Rivers, all while raising fund for the New Zealand Riding for the Disabled (RDA).
We dive into what is involved in preparing for a trek of the this magnitude, the highlights, the challenges and how much she raised in the process.
