Amy & Nick Thompson are the husband and wife team who co-founded ANT Podcast Management and co-host the What the Pho Travel Podcast. On What the Pho, Amy and Nick set out to take listeners on a journey as they document their experiences travelling to different countries all over the world, immersing themselves in local cultures. And the great thing about the show is, if they don’t like somewhere, they’ll tell you about it. Unlike some other travel podcasts, there’s no sugar coating here.
As well as giving practical hands-on advice you can apply to your own show, the pair also share some great stories about the interesting things they’ve been up to on their travels. In this interview, James Deeney speaks to Amy and Nick about how they first got involved in podcasting, best practices for producing content, and how to tap into local cultures when travelling.
