Lastly, we discuss the importance of remaining open to the opportunities that will arise along the way. Listen below to find out how Mason has used these areas of focus to accomplish success with Rosa’s Fresh Pizza, and make an impact on lives every day for just $1!
Mason wraps up the interview by answering our blitz questions to provide you with great advice and resources! Check out our show notes below for those!
1. What is a social venture that we all should checkout?
TOM’S Shoes and also the Bill Gates Foundation. Both have learning tools for entrepreneurs.
2. What is your favorite online or offline resource/tool that all entrepreneurs should use?
We use Squarespace a lot for the business and to host our site. They have been great to work with and it looks really sharp.
3. One piece of advice you would give to an aspiring change agent?
Success is at the intersection of focus and persistence. Just keep it really simple, don't take on too much. You will make a ton of mistakes, so try to limit the things that you can mess-up, especially starting out. Persist through difficulties and you will be less discouraged. Pick your areas for success one at a time.
4. What is your favorite fun escape?
Reading comic books, like super hero, spiderman, the avengers, it’s simple stuff to escape and I love it!
5. What is a caused based book we should all read?
Microlending Book by Muhammad Yunus and The Emperor Of All Maladies a Bibliography of Cancer, which displays the growth of society.
6. What is the first thing we can all do to start changing the word?
If you want to make the world a better place in the future, start with the children today. “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of the cure.” There will be homeless individuals in the future, so change the way you treat children now, help them grow up positively with schooling and encouragement because it will change their future, and OUR future.
