AS a Lieutenant, she was in charge of the department's public information office and was one of the primary spokespeople for the Beltway Snipers case. From the challenges of releasing reliable information, suppressing false information and being attacked by the news media, she shares her experience. A side of policing that is rarely told, in a case that captured the nation and world's attention. The Beltway sniper attacks consisted of coordinated shootings that occurred during three weeks in October 2002 throughout the Washington metropolitan area, consisting of the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia. Ten people were killed, and three others were severely wounded.
Isabella also talks about her series of books, one of which is being made into a movie, starring Jennifer Lopez.
