From the overlooked to the underrepresented, Shared History is the history-comedy podcast that covers the stories that your history textbook may have left out. We hope you laugh and learn along with us as we tell you tales of history in a format more entertaining, more irreverent, and hopefully more inclusive than that dusty old textbook.
Hosted by Chicago Comedians, Cass Maher and Natalie Younger, every episode is as entertaining as it is educational, as the hosts and their knowledgeable guests share with you the history they wish someone had taught them. Focused on the history that didn’t make the curriculum, episodes frequently feature stories and events of more marginalized groups such as women, people of color, disabled individuals and the LGBTQIA+ community.
Each episode covers 1-2 topics from world history, US history, sports history, science history, heck, even culinary history! We can't wait to share some history with you.
