With Matrix 4 just around the corner, we’re taking a whole month to look back at the OG trilogy, and what better way to start than to talk to the first person ever hired to work on the original Matrix, comic book artist Steve Skroce. After doing hundreds of storyboards for the original, Steve became a longtime collaborator of the Wachowski’s and worked on all four Matrix films— yes, including the latest.
From being there when the pitch for the original movie got rejected by the studios, to watching it become one of the most influential films of the last few decades, Steve has a unique perspective on the series. We hope you enjoy this conversation as much as we did. Joining us was Co-Founder of Inscape Studios, Matt Sinclair.
