Key Scripture: Philippians 3:12-21
A New Year often brings a sense of optimism as we reflect on all the possibilities in life. It’s a time we set new goals, start new routines, and establish a new set of priorities. All of these things can be quite beneficial, but we must also ask ourselves: What kinds of goals are we making? While failing to achieve our goals can be discouraging, achieving the wrong goals can be destructive. What goals are you focused on this new year? Are they aligned with God’s goals for you? Let this next year be one where you press on towards the goal that brings the true prize.
