In this week’s episode, I got to chat with Swedish director, Mikael Håfström, who is behind the new psychological thriller Slingshot. Hafstrom has directed movies like 1408 with John Cusack and The Rite with Anthony Hopkins. Slingshot stars Laurence Fishburne and Casey Afleck and we talk about what drew him to the script, how the cast came together, and what the shoot was like. He also told me why he loves horror and who his favorite directors are.
