Guarding the Health of a Church

As the return of Christ draws nearer, spiritual deception and moral decay will increase—even within the church. Paul urges Timothy to guard against those who appear godly but deny the true power of the Gospel, because their influence can spiritually harm others, especially those young in the faith. Church leaders, then, carry a sacred responsibility to protect the health of the church—we'll see how they do this and how we as believers can practically share this burden.
