Foster/McElroy were looking to build a Girl Group based out of the San Fransisco Bay Area/Oakland back in 1988
They held an audition and over 3.000 girls showed up.
Maxine, Dawn, Cindy and Terry were the last 4 standing, and they became En Vogue.
