Ann Lauer is an award-winning fiber artist who has been professionally designing and creating quilts, quilt patterns and kits, and quilt fabric for more than twenty-five years.
In 2021, Ann and her husband, Ron, were visiting Uganda to visit the Impenetrable Rainforest Gorilla Refuge. In addition to seeing gorillas, they stumbled upon an organization of quilters called Ride 4 a Woman and their incredible work to lift up women in their community through quilting and basket making. She's continued to support the organization and just returned from another trip there.
