Leah Busque Solivan didn’t realize that running out of dog food one night would cause her to come up with the idea for TaskRabbit, an online and mobile marketplace that matches freelance labor with local demand, allowing consumers to find immediate help with everyday tasks. She has since scaled the company to 44 cities, raised more than $50 million in venture capital funding and currently serves as the executive chairwoman to the company and general partner of FUEL Capital.
