Timely’s first comic book Superstar- The Golden Age Human Torch. The Torch first appeared in Marvel Comics #1 and quickly became the company’s most popular character. He disappeared from the racks twice in the Golden Age twice, but has maintained a presence in the Marvel Universe up to present. Dave Horrocks joins me to discuss Jim Hammond in this episode.
