About the Film:
An epic fantasy adventure based on the timeless Arthurian legend, The Green Knight tells the story of Sir Gawain (Dev Patel), King Arthur’s reckless and headstrong nephew, who embarks on a daring quest to confront the eponymous Green Knight, a gigantic emerald-skinned stranger and tester of men. Gawain contends with ghosts, giants, thieves, and schemers in what becomes a deeper journey to define his character and prove his worth in the eyes of his family and kingdom by facing the ultimate challenger. From visionary filmmaker David Lowery comes a fresh and bold spin on a classic tale from the knights of the round table.

Maggie Parke is a lecturer at Signum University. She completed her MA on medieval Arthurian literature and her PhD on popular film adaptation.
Kat Sas holds an MA in Language & Literature from Signum University, where she concentrated in Imaginative Literature. She hosts a weekly podcast on speculative television at Kat & Curt’s TV Re-View, and she blogs about Doctor Who, Game of Thrones, and other shows on her blog, Raving Sanity.
Ashley Thomas, AKA The Nerdy Blogger, is a Signum University graduate and volunteer, where she completed her MA in literature and language, concentrating in Imaginative Literature. Ashley is a freelance writer, contributing to such sites as Fangirlish.com, popcultureretrorama.com and its podcast, as well as the Dearly Debated podcast.
Gabriel Schenk is a lecturer at Signum University. He completed his DPhil on Arthurian Literature in 2015.
