Welcome back to The Student Physio Podcast. Hosted by Lewis Cowan and Connor Wright. This week we had the pleasure of being joined by student leader Jen McNesfield from Oxford Brooke's University. Jen represents physio students on the 'one-hundred and fifty leaders, student leadership programme.' In this episode we dissected the 'Physio Declares' project. Opening the episode we explored the concept of climate health and the role physiotherapy plays within that. As we delve deeper into climate change we discuss how physiotherapy is the 'green' profession in striving for sustainability and self-management all before Jen explains to us the purpose of Physio Declares, it's aims and the what we can do better to tackle climate change as individuals, in our organisations and on a wider societal level.
