This week on Comes A Time Oteil and Mike sit down with creative force and comedic musical entertainer, Thessaly Lerner. The three talk about the importance of taking care of the children by passing down important knowledge, gratitude for the psychedelic pioneers who keep important ideals and rituals alive, and why Wavy Gravy is the hippie Forrest Gump. Thessaly tells the guys about what it was like to grow up in the presence of some of the great artistic minds of the 60’s, Oteil discusses a powerful cosmic moment that he experienced during Mardi Gras, and describes why Thessaly is the psychedelic Ken Burns.
Thessaly Lerner is a TV show and content creator, writer, producer, director, voiceover actress, award-winning playwright, and comedic musical entertainer known as The Ukulady. Born in an electric storm in Northern California, Lerner grew up amongst the offspring of San Francisco’s 1960’s artistic and social visionaries, and creates content reflecting her roots. In 2014, Lerner created and sold her first animated series, Astrid Strudelman: The Unicorn Whisperer, to Dreamworks TV. She stars in 13 short episodes, which are available on Amazon Prime.
