Ned Hillsdale, The Web Tightens

Weeks had passed since Ned Hillsdale and the Chicago police had successfully captured the Puppeteer and rescued Stacy from the clutches of his twisted sidekick, the Marionette. However, the Puppeteer’s cryptic threats and the Marionette’s escape left a lingering sense of unease. Ned knew that their battle against the forces of darkness was far from over. He remained vigilant, but the constant stress and danger had taken its toll. For the first time in months, Ned decided to take a much-needed rest.
