This is the first Disney Channel Original Movie to be Filmed in Panavision (anamorphic), in the wide 2.39:1 aspect ratio. All previous DCOMs were either filmed in 1.33:1 (4:3) or 1.78:1 (16:9) aspect ratios.
This is the first DCOM to not premiere on Disney Channel outside North America but much rather debut on Disney+, due to the closure of Disney Channel International in 2020.
