Team Captain, Richard Greer, has headed north with a keen crew of soon-to-be gravel cyclists.

They are hitting up the 'G'Roads Northland way.

It is titled Backroad400, but for those on the trip who haven't done their research... it is actually Backroad449 with just over 6000m vert.

Day 1 - Whangarei to Russell

Day 2 - Russell to Rawene

Day 3 - Rawene to Kaihi

Day 4 - Kaihi to Whangarei Airport
