In Acts, new believers regularly received this power through simple faith. It wasn't reserved for special Christians—it was (and is) for everyone who asks.

The beautiful thing about this gift? You don't need to wait, tarry, or become perfect first. Jesus promised that if earthly parents know how to give good gifts, "how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask?" That's all it takes—simple, childlike asking.
