Understanding Matthew 24 (Part 1 verses 14-20)

Matthew 24 is a pivotal passage for ones eschatological position. Often referred to as the "Olivet Discourse" (or plainly, Jesus talking on the Mt of Olives), Jesus lays out for the disciples when the temple will be destroyed, and the conclusion of the old covenant. This makes the New Covenant in Christ the only way for sin to be forgiven and to enter into a relationship with the Father.
