No one is quite sure what turns their eyes grey... Saaut is one of the strange people known as The Grey Eyes. They have gods like The Church and power like The Consortium, but are hunted and ridiculed by both. They try to keep to themselves, but Saaut finds that he is about to be far removed from the lands he grew up in.
