Black women diagnosed with breast cancer have a 40% higher mortality rate than white women. Despite this fact, diagnostic and educational tools often overlook how breast cancer symptoms look and feel on dark skin.

In this episode I’ll share how a Canadian black woman is advocating for change to the age of breast cancer screening be lowered from age 50 to 40.
