Known across the globe as "The Ugliest Woman in the World", "The Ape Woman", "The Nondescript" among many others, Julia Pastrana was used in life and death in spite of her natural talent, intelligence, and charm, but because of her rare condition that caused her to have full hair growth across her body. She was used, abused, and exploited in life and death for nearly 150 years before she finally was laid to rest.
This is a more poignant episode of Scarlet where Sonia and Brittney discuss the "other" side of beauty and the story of sideshows and freakshows in the 19th and 20th Centuries.
