Margaret and comedian Phil Yu discuss the 1880 Denver Riot and the recent San Leandro beating of an 80-year-old Asian man.
This week, we are highlighting the San Leandro nonprofit Community Impact Lab. Founded by Xouhoa Bowen, Community Impact Lab envisions a world where women and their abilities are valued, where work and life can be integrated, and where families act as a force for positive social change.
They organized a StoptheHate Rally in response to the San Leandro attack. To get involved go to communityimpactlab.org
