The third episode of this series explores how the future can feature both high-class performance and an environmentally stable model of racing. Penny Mallory is joined by Darren Palmer, Global Product Development Director for battery electric Ford and Lincoln vehicles worldwide. We ask Darren how far Ford have come in marrying performance and sustainability across electric ranges. Penny also speaks to Julia Palle, the Sustainability Director from Formula E, and discusses how and why motorsport championships use exclusively electric vehicles, the growth of Formula E, and how important it is that motorsport at large continues to consider sustainability.
