A perfect storm: booze, drugs and grinding poverty

In the second episode of this special Eyewitness News report, we remember some of the other brutal and gruesome cases that have rocked the small town of Bredasdorp. The story of the town’s violent crimes against women didn’t begin or end with the Anene Booysen murder. We ask why some of the men in this sleepy Overberg town seem so prone to acts of grotesque and callous violence.
