On today’s episode of Let’s Get Haunted, we bypass the brothels and casinos of the Silver State and travel back in time to one of the weirdest cryptid encounters ever. In 1925, four pilots landed on a remote mesa near Battle Mountain, Nevada, where they claimed to witness one of the strangest UFO encounters ever recorded - not with a spacecraft, but with what appeared to be a living, breathing creature drifting through the sky. After watching the injured, disc-shaped being struggle to take flight, they allegedly saw a much larger version descend from above, rescue it, and disappear back into the clouds. This week, we investigate the original eyewitness account, the mysterious history of Battle Mountain, and the bizarre theory that some UFOs may actually be undiscovered atmospheric animals rather than extraterrestrial craft. Is this one of the greatest forgotten cryptid stories in American history, or the ultimate tall tale?
