"Where are you going?"

This poignant question marks the beginning of the chorus to Joe Savage's new song, "First Sight of Danger," from his new record, El Camino.  Marked by a familiar but restless bass line and a driving country guitar, "First Sight of Danger" explores the concept of finding one's footing.  In this episode, Joe and Emmeline talk about the 500-mile walk that inspired this song and Joe's new record.  They also discuss the difficulty of finding one's voice amidst the social noise, the joy of spending less time with one's smartphone, and the imperative of listening for and heeding the calls on our hearts.
