My Seven Wonders with Clive Anderson
Society & Culture:Personal Journals
As an internationally acclaimed comedian that previously taught science to one of the UK’s most influential grime stars, it’s fair today to say that Shazia Mirza has had a fairly wondrous career.
On today’s episode, she treats Clive and our live audience to some fascinating stories, including her star appearance in the local paper at the age of 14 when she met Boy George in a nightclub and a bold but ultimately failed attempt to become a pop star.
This episode was recorded live at the Edinburgh Fringe, August 2022.
