The Way Out | A Sobriety and Recovery Podcast
Education:Self-Improvement
In this rendition of The Way out Co-host Jason sits down with person in long term Recovery, Greg Greene. An additional word of caution, this episode contains subject matter that may be disturbing, including graphic discussion of drug use and suicide. If you or someone you know is in crisis, please call or text 988 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Greg shares his story with us from a very open and vulnerable place. A former IV meth user, stints in jails and prisons, and a suicide attempt survivor, he pulls no punches in his sharing, and he even got Jason to share some pretty hard stuff for anyone admit on the air. Indeed, it was a fine opportunity for a couple of men in Recovery to connect and get gut level honest about how some things affected their mental health, as well as how drugs diminished their moral code. As Jason said about this interview and I quote: “I don't know the last time I said ‘you're telling my story’ to someone so many times!” We hope you come along for the ride as we get to know Greg and see how far he has come on his recovery journey and we’re convinced you'll be glad you did so listen up.
