Career Choices (Choose wisely) & Don’t Be afraid to Move on

It's ok to pivot :) Choosing a career can be hard, so to all of the younger people especially y’all that’s in 7th or 8thgrade definitely high school be thinking about what you would like to do after school. Whether that’s going to college, going to the army, starting your own business (entrepreneur), learning a trade, etc. Just make sure to choose something that you think that you would enjoy, make a good/great living ($) from, and that you can do for the rest of your life or at least for a few years. Start thinking about this stuff early and if you have trouble thinking of what you might want to do I would say volunteer at different work places/facilities to see how things go and see if you could picture yourself doing that particular thing for some years. Also don’t feel like you are stuck to one career/job. Sometimes you outgrow people, jobs, places, etc., so if you find yourself not enjoying your career/job anymore start looking for another place to work or hopefully with the degree (career choice) that you have it allows you to work in different areas. For example, a degree that you can work in a laboratory, or you can work in an actual hospital setting. You don’t want to work/stay somewhere that you don’t enjoy and not making as much as you think you deserve if possible. Be mindful of your mental state and well being you only have one life, try to enjoy it as best you can.
