Aaron Miller: The Mentorship of Traditional Bowhunting

This week Aaron Miller joins Alan Altizer to discuss our responsibilities as traditional bowhunters, and how to share the lessons and ethics that a traditional bowhunter learns over their lifetime of experiences. “We have been blessed to have hunted the hard way.” But this path has taught the bowhunter so many things and has provided teaching tools which can be used to mentor the next generations.

These tools can be used to teach them how to be better hunters, but more importantly, life lessons which teach them to be better men and women. Too few kids today have guidance and mentorship in the outdoors. Whether it is a person’s own children, or someone else’s, it is our responsibility to share our knowledge and passion for the outdoors. The best part to bowhunting is sharing the knowledge we have with others and seeing their success as we watch the next generations become better than us.
