What’s one thing that can change the atmosphere in a room and connect you and your spouse?
Hey Its Stu and Lisa Gray from Stupendous Marriage.com and this is your Stupendous Marriage Minute.
I went to a parenting seminar recently and the speaker talked about one change she made to her behaviour whenever her teen son came into the room.
She smiled at him.
That's all.
He never said anything about it, but the first time his mom DIDN’t Smile (after several months) he asked her right away - Mom, What’s Wrong?
Smile at your spouse. Enjoy their presence and connect with them. Think of something positive before you see them and smile when they come into your presence.
Mother Theresa said, "You never know all the good that a simple smile can do."
A smile at your spouse changes the atmosphere in the room and can connect the two of you together simply by putting it on your face.
