Forrest has got to be one of my personal favorites! After the war, General Lee was asked who he thought his greatest general was, Lee replied, "Sir, a gentleman I have never had the pleasure to meet, General Nathan Bedford Forrest." In this episode I briefly highlight the man and talk about the incident at Fort Pillow.
