In this episode, Jill interviews Martin Shepherd, CEO and founder of Arch Access Control and co-founder of EARN. They discussed the importance of standing up for yourself in professional and person spheres. Shepherd explains that Black people are often required to spend extra energy to not come off negative to non-Blacks in a corporate environment. Martin Shepherd is the founder and CEO of Arch Access Control, a leader in physical and cyber security solutions. Martin founded Arch to eliminate fear of loss due to security breach incidents. Arch's mission is to bring end-to-end risk mitigation solutions to clients at the intersection of physical and cyber vulnerabilities. Martin is also a practicing attorney of nearly two decades. As an in-house attorney, he managed large corporate legal teams and projects, and led corporate innovation teams.
