069: Emotional Signs in the Body: Crown Center

Our body is always giving us signals, like the warning lights of the dash on a car.  Our spirit holds our original blueprint of health and harmony. But the flow of the communication from the spirit gets blocked when thoughts and emotions aren’t expressed and handled appropriately. Where are the signals? What are the red flags? How do we know we’re off course or out of alignment?

This last episode in our series on body energy centers gives the basic breakdown of the crown center, which is the very tip top of the head. The crown is the energy center within our bodies that is related to the awareness of our connection to the God. Located at the top of the head, the crown chakra is associated with the pituitary gland within the brain. Being connected in this center helps us to understand that we are a soul experiencing life through a body, but we are not just a body. Life is more than the tangible matter that we touch and see. It’s where we connect to inner wisdom, feel connected to others and life, and feel a sense of serenity and wholeness despite what’s happening around us.

Living in stressful environments and fast paced lives, as well as unresolved trauma, disconnect us from the reality that exists beyond ourselves. The core issue is that we’re conditioned to believe that we aren’t already perfectly connected to God and His truth and perspective, as if He is withholding things from us until we "get it right". Life can tend to reinforce this belief if it’s the lens we are looking through.

Using essential oils daily is a great way to relax our minds and bodies and remind us of our connection to our compassionate Creator. There isn’t a day that goes by we don’t need connection to truth and God’s presence. Our minds need that extra help so that we’re not just recycling our own thoughts and trying to squeeze wisdom out of it.
