Podcasting with Purpose for Life Coaches
Education:How To
Today, I’m welcoming returning guest, Jill Angie, certified running and mindset coach who helps women who have never felt athletic start running so they can feel confident in their body. Jill started the Not Your Average Runner movement to teach people that runners come in all shapes, sizes, and speeds.
In this episode we talk about all things podcasting, (and a little about knitting!) and what keeps Jill coming back to the microphone again and again. She shares how her passion for running has taken her to amazing places … including podcasting.
Listen in as we talk about her journey with running and the mental shifts she made that really made her fall in love with running, celebrating her body, and how this inspired her podcast.
I also ask Jill to share some of her favorite hacks that make podcasting easy. You’re going to LOVE her tips, and I’m even stealing a few of these myself!
A few episode highlights:
KGW: Why did you start podcasting?
JA: I reluctantly started it. I had crappy thoughts. Then ... I started having fun!
KJG: Why do you think it’s fun?
JA: I’m helping people and I like talking!!
KGW: Do you have a recording or editing hack?
JA: I plan a week before my solos, but I'll record a bunch of interviews to keep in the bank.
KGW: What does your recording studio look like?
JA: I literally have 3 pieces of equipment and it doesn't need to be complicated at all.
