As someone who has seen my share of doctor's offices, I want to share a recent experience that really hit home. I was chatting with a fellow patient—a man in his late 60s—who was getting ready for a trip to the Amazon. It was such a beautiful reminder that adventure doesn't have an age limit. We have to refuse to let a number or a setback define what is possible for us.

It's Never Too Late to Pursue Your Dreams

I want to ask you: If you could do anything in the world—for fun, for work, or just because—what would it be? I know life presents challenges, but it is never too late to take that first step. So many of us say, "One day, when the kids are grown," or "when I have more money." But let's be real—those are often just excuses that keep us stuck. You deserve to start now.

Embracing Change and Forward Motion

I've had my share of ups and downs, from being a single mom in LA making $9 an hour to finally following my dreams here by the ocean. I like to think of life like a train; people get on and off at different stops, and that's okay. My message to you is simple: Don't let your past prevent you from moving forward. There are beautiful things waiting for you if you just choose to keep going.

Community and Connection Matter

Whether I'm watching rocket launches from my front yard or swimming with the manatees, I've learned that happiness comes from your attitude and your actions, not from having "perfect" circumstances. We're in this together. I want you to reach out and tell me what you're excited about.
