God is worthy of all glory, and expressing gratitude is not only appropriate but essential. Instead of incessantly making requests, it is imperative that we pause and offer thanks to God for the multitude of blessings bestowed upon us. Taking a moment to reflect on all that God has accomplished underscores the importance of gratitude. Through our expressions of thanks, we not only acknowledge God's goodness but also open the door for divine acknowledgment and attentive listening to our prayers.
Bible verses:
Psalm 100.1-5 A Psalm for giving thanks. Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth! Serve the Lord with gladness! Come into his presence with singing! Know that the Lord, he is God! It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name! For the Lord is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations.
Lamentations 3.22 The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end;
