New from Spoken Label is a dear friend of Spoken Label (Author / Artist Podcast) that I (Andy N) first met at Speak Easy ages back, the wonderful Esther Koch
Esther Koch describes her poetry as honest, earnest, emotional and ironic. She doesn't play a character on stage, she says; she's authentic and true to herself. Esther found poetry at a time in her life when she felt lost. She says that she “needed an outlet for the nonsense” in her head and wanted people to see who she really was.
More about Esther can be found at: https://www.instagram.com/estie_poet/
Pieces read out in this session include:
1. Sarrasine
2. Soulful
