This episode's guest is Pip Stewart. Pip is an adventurer, journalist and presenter who has cycled from Malaysia to London, paddled the entire length of the Essequibo River in Guyana and travelled from the mouth of the Amazon to the Pacific coast of Lima to document the deforestation of the Amazon rainforest. As a journalist and presenter she has worked with the likes of the BBC, CNN, Al Jazera and the South China Morning Post and in 2018 she found herself in a relationship with a flesh-eating parasite and is now campaigning to raise awareness of leishmaniasis, a neglected tropical disease that effects around 1 billion people. Recorded at Bracklesham Bay, West Sussex.
